Introduction

In an evening that shone a spotlight on the successes of healthcare, the Scottish Care Awards celebrated the best and brightest in the care sector. As innovators in care staffing, Staffscanner was thrilled to be part of this prestigious event, witnessing firsthand the remarkable achievements within our sector.

The Awards and Winners

This year’s Scottish Care Awards was a testament to dedication and excellence. Among the stars of the night were Maureen Cameron from Manor Grange Care Home, who took home the “Ancillary & Support Staff Award,” and Mealmore, celebrated for their “Nutrition & Eating Well Award.” The “Meaningful Activity Award” was rightfully earned by the Benore Care Home Wellbeing Team, while Kyle Manns from Balhousie Care Group was honored with the “Training, Learning & Staff Development Award.” Other notable winners included Brogan McKay, Sharon Findlay, Kirsty Cartin, and many more who are shaping the future of care with their unwavering commitment and passion.

Highlights from the Winners

Mealmore, upon receiving their award, shared their ethos of enriching lives beyond basic needs, focusing on nutritious meals that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary requirements of residents. Rubislaw Park Care Home, crowned as the “Care Home of the Year,” expressed their heartfelt gratitude, emphasising the commitment and compassion of their staff. Care Concern Group, celebrating three wins, and Balhousie Care Group, proud of their finalist Kyle Manns, echoed similar sentiments of pride and excellence. These statements not only reflect individual triumphs but also the collective progress in the care sector.

Implications for the Care Sector

These awards highlight the evolving landscape of care, where excellence, innovation, and empathy are at the forefront. At Staffscanner, we resonate with these values, as our digital platform is designed to empower care providers and professionals, fostering connections that enhance the quality of care. Not only this but our founders Reza & Omid Najafian own and operate their very own Luxury Care Home so we really mean it when we say we are from the sector for the sector and furthermore appreciate the dedication and unwavering support these winners provide.

Staffscanner's Role and Vision

As we applaud the achievements of our friends, associates and valued clients, we at Staffscanner are inspired to continue our mission. Our platform is more than just a staffing solution; it’s a commitment to improving care standards by seamlessly connecting care homes with qualified professionals.
